Roger Federer First Practice - Australian Open 2014

As a sports mad Melbournite, one thing I miss seeing every year is the Australian Open.

We are quite fortunate to be able to host one of the 4 major tennis events of the year; the other 3 Grand Slams being the US Open, French Open, and the legendary Wimbledon

Unforunately though, In Japan the Ausopen isn't readily accessible on free to air TV. But you can still follow the action on the official Ausopen website or smartphone app; and you may be lucky enough to find some venues in Tokyo to watch the major events.

Considering Japan's current No.1 tennis play Kei Nishikori just won the Kooyong Classic down the road from Melbourne Park, I'm sure a lot of Japanese are supporting their greatest tennis player in the modern open era!

All the online action, including live radio, can be found here:

If you know a great venue in Tokyo to watch the finals then please let us know!
